How to install a VST in FL Studio
Step 1
First, create a folder on your hard drive to store your VSTs, and make it somewhere easy to find when you want to add more in the future. We recommend pinning it to quick access if you’re a Windows user. This will make it easy to drag and drop new plugins from your downloads folder to your VST one.

Step 2
Open FL Studio and navigate to “options” and then “manage plugins” to bring the Plugin Manger to the foreground.

Step 3
On the plugin manager select the add folder icon indicated in the screenshot below. Doing so will bring up the Windows file explorer. From here navigate to your VSTs folder then select it and click OK.

Step 4
Now you’ve routed your folder you can scan its contents by clicking “Find more plugins“. Now just wait a few moments for FL Studio to scan for contents. Once it’s scanned your plugins locate your new VST and click the star icon next to add it to your list of plugins.

You’re good to go!
Your new VST should be available for selection on the mixer or the plugin selector menu!
